Project aims:

The research focuses on four new lines of inquiry related to economic disasters. More precisely, the research aims to investigate:

  1. frequencies and characteristics of economic disasters across countries and over time,
  2. determinants of variations in the frequency of economic disasters, 
  3. effects of economic disasters on saving and international capital flows,
  4. effects of economic disasters on sustainable development.

  • 4 articles published or accepted for publication in international peer-review journals indexed in Web of Science
  • 2 articles submitted to international peer-review journals indexed in Web of Science
