The University Undergraduate Study Programme in Business Studies is a three-year, full-time programme delivered entirely in English at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split. It is the first Bachelor's programme at FEBT to be fully taught in English, designed to prepare students for both employment and further academic study in an international environment.
The curriculum combines a solid foundation in economics, management, accounting, finance, marketing and business law with strong components in digital technologies, data analytics and entrepreneurship. Teaching is delivered through a mix of lectures, interactive seminars, case-study discussions, team projects, workshops, simulations and guest lectures from practitioners, supported by the Faculty's e-learning platform "Merlin."
The programme follows the three-tier Bologna structure and is fully aligned with the Croatian Qualifications Framework (CROQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF, Level 6), ensuring comparability with well-established business bachelor programmes at leading European universities (e.g., University of Zagreb, University of Ljubljana, WU Vienna, Bocconi University).
A key applied component is an optional Internship – On-site Practical Assignment in the final semester, together with a BSc Final Project, connecting academic learning with professional practice. Graduates are qualified for entry-level positions in business organisations, public administration, non-profit organisations and entrepreneurial ventures, in Croatia and abroad, and are fully prepared to continue their education at Master's level.
